Same age.
Not the same.

You know two people the same age who are nothing alike. You have sensed it about yourself — your body keeps its own clock. That gap is real, and it is measurable.

WHAT ACTUALLY MOVES

Not All Measures Are Equal

8/9
outcomes one clock was linked to, minimally adjusted

When four epigenetic clocks were tested against nine outcomes (eight clinical phenotypes plus all-cause mortality), one clock, GrimAge, was associated with eight of the nine in minimally adjusted models. After full adjustment it held for four: walking speed, polypharmacy, frailty and mortality. Horvath and Hannum were not predictive of health.

The measurement is only as good as its validation. The study tested research clocks (McCrory et al., Journals of Gerontology: Series A, 2021, TILDA).

3M+
people in the grip-strength evidence base

In a meta-analysis of 42 cohorts and more than three million people, the lowest grip-strength group carried a 1.41-fold higher risk of all-cause mortality.

Grip strength is a cheap, physical, non-mystical read on cellular-level decline, and risk rose for every five-kilogram decrease (Wu et al., JAMDA, 2017, n=3,002,203).

4.9
years longer life, fittest vs least fit

In the Copenhagen Male Study, the fittest men in midlife lived a mean 4.9 years longer than the least fit, over 46 years of follow-up.

What was measurable at 48 was still predicting outcomes at 94 — cardiorespiratory fitness measured in midlife carried decades (Clausen et al., JACC, 2018, n=5,107).

WHAT IS INSIDE

What This White Paper Will Show You

Not anti-aging — measuring what actually moves. Written for the adult between 40 and 65 who has sensed their body keeps its own clock and wants an honest read on it.

1

Why chronological age is a poor predictor of how your body is actually aging — and why biological age is a separate, measurable question.

2

Why not all biological-age measures are equal — when four clocks were tested against nine outcomes they did not perform alike, so precision means choosing the measures that have been validated.

3

What a physician-led approach measures — grip strength, cardiorespiratory fitness, and validated epigenetic reads.
